    I-130 filed on Jan, 2019 NOT approved YET but interview scheduled

    Hi guys,

    I submitted I-130 for my wife on Jan 2019, and received notice on September, 2019 saying Case Transferred And New Office Has Jurisdiction, and since then, I got nothing except for an I-797 notice.

    And I opened a request of Outside Normal Processing Time on Feb., and hasn't received anything back yet.

    My I-485 interview was scheduled on March 31 and got canceled and rescheduled due to COVID-19.

    So, does anyone have similar situation like me? What if I still don't have I-130 approved while I finished the interview?

    From what I read, most of the time they approve I-130 when they decide to approve I-485 (if sent together).
    Nov 2018 - Package sent - EB - Texas Service Center
    Day 1 - Package received at the lockbox
    Day 999 - Card delivered to me - Aug 2021

      That is correct, That is what they did to us
      4-18-18 PD
      4-29-18 Finger Print fee was received
      9-26-18 I-765 and I-131 Approved
      10-02-18 Card Was Delivered To Me By The Post Office (sent to Lawyer) Day 167
      10-03-18 Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview Day 168
      10-05-18 your case has been scheduled for a interview. Day 170
      11-13-18 Interview
      11-13-18 New card being produced
      11-15-18 I130 and I485 Approved
      11-20-18 Card Mailed

        Hello we had our interview in February and IO went over both I-130 and I-485 during the interview. So they might do the same with you. Good luck
