Interview Postponed (Covid) - Just Received I485J

Hi All,

My scheduled GC interview was postponed (no new date yet) due to CV. However, I have just received an I485 approval notice.

Does anybody know the significance of this? Anyone in the some position?

Did you get I485 approval notice or I485J approval notice?

Sometimes they approve I485J near the interview date (before or shortly after). This just means that your case is being reviewed and everything is ok. You still need to wait for your interview or if CV takes months, they may approve some cases without an interview (my guess, nothing official)

I485J is filed by EB AOS. Basically C09 means Adjustment of Status applicant, could be FB, EB or even some special categories in EB.

Its just the 485 J unfortunately.

Let me check tomorrow if is a c09.
