  • Interview scheduled while USCIS is closed

    Hello everyone!

I’ve been following several forums and different threads, and I’ve noticed that people who had their interviews cancelled due to the Covid 19 has their status as “Interview cancelled” or “Ready to be scheduled” (after being cancelled).

After having my interview cancelled (April 1st) and status changed to “ready to reschedule” (April 3rd), I got an update that my interview has been scheduled (April 9th).

Anyone else had their interview rescheduled during the shutdown? I couldn’t find another case. It’s making me wonder if it’s just a glitch in the system?

Maybe not, USCIS has in their site that they’re planning to reopen during the first week of May. Usually you get a month to prep for your interview so this is good news. Let’s hope everything stays on track
