  • College with an EAD or Green Card... HELP PLZ (Missouri)

    Hello,

I'm wanting to become a nurse and am looking forward to attending college soon; however, I am still waiting on my EAD and Green Card. (I have my ''work only SSN") I'm wondering when I will be able to apply for college and get the in-state tuition fees. Will my "work only" SSN work for college? Do I have to wait for a green card?

Help me out with whatever knowledge you have. I'm really wanting to start college soon.

    I'm based out of Missouri

    Thanks!

Edit: I know I can apply for college without having an SSN.. I've taken college classes before but I had to pay double tuition because I wasn't a resident and couldn't prove I lived in-state. I'm wondering what I need to get in-state tuition.

    Thanks

Every state university has its own individual residency policy which determines who is classified as in-state and out of state. Check out Missouri State's policy here https://www.missouristate.edu/policy..._Residency.htm. ctrl-f keywords like 'permanent resident' or 'citizen' to find information easier.

Edit: I would contact the adviser of the department you're applying to for more details. They may allow you to apply now and give them proof of your residency sometime in the summer.

Absolutely a question for the individual university itself (I’m a college professor). I’d imagine that residency could be established in other ways than a SSN, but generally you’ll need to be resident for a full year before being able to get in-state tuition.
        Concurrent Filing AOS - married to U.S. Citizen (i130, i130a, i131, i485, i765, i864, i944)

It's commendable that you decided to go to college. As far as I know, each state has different rules and conditions for college and university admissions. You can apply based on your SSN, so there is no need to wait for your green card. However, it is better to ask the iunajaf.edu.iq university administration for details. Higher education is a great tool that can unlock outstanding potential. If you look at it from the employer's point of view, such an employee is more promising, and it is not difficult to train him in the specifics of work.

            Thank you for the topic!
Studying in college can be a challenging experience, especially when it comes to writing a dissertation. A dissertation is a lengthy and complex academic document that requires extensive research, critical analysis, and excellent writing skills. Many students find it difficult to complete their dissertations on their own and may be tempted to use cheap dissertation writing services to help them.

While these services may seem like a quick and easy solution to the challenges of writing a dissertation, they can actually do more harm than good. Cheap dissertation writing services often employ unqualified or inexperienced writers who may not be familiar with the specific requirements and standards of academic writing. As a result, the final product may be of poor quality and may not meet the academic standards expected by the college or university.

Moreover, using such services can also be considered a form of academic dishonesty, as the student is essentially outsourcing their work to someone else. This undermines the integrity of the academic system and deprives students of the opportunity to develop their own research and writing skills, which are essential for success in their future careers.

Rather than relying on cheap dissertation writing service, students should seek out resources and support services offered by their colleges and universities to improve their writing skills and develop their research abilities. These resources may include writing centers, academic advisors, and research librarians.

By taking advantage of these resources and dedicating time and effort to their dissertations, students can develop the skills and knowledge necessary to complete their academic work with integrity and excellence. In doing so, they can not only succeed academically but also build a strong foundation for their future careers and contribute positively to their communities.
