I-864 - Need help!

Hello everybody,

I'm filling my green card application based on marriage. because my wife does not have enough income to support me I was read on the instructions that I may use my asstes & income to meet the minimum requirment income.

my question is if I bring a bank statement of my forgien bank account (not in the US) shows that I have enough funds (even more than what require in the povetry guideline) does it can be counted or I have to bring some other proofs?

I am also working legally in the US and just wonder hows my income counted to meed my petitioner minimum income to support me?

I have read this article but still can't understand if a statement from a forgien bank is eligible evidence for I-864.
