The EO shouldn’t affect you if you are currently in the US. And you are married to a US citizen so you are good.

However, you weren’t scheduled for an interview yet. The status you should have once you’re finally scheduled is “Interview was scheduled”. Then you’ll receive a letter in the mail that has your interview schedule.

USCIS offices are currently not holding interviews because of the pandemic so expect to have a much longer wait for your interview.

Does this affect the aliens who already have received Immigration Visa (F-4) i.e. i got the visa stamped in my passport and also have the sealed envelope.

I reached out to the firm last night that submitted my AOS for the 485. The feedback I received was that at this time this does not impact me - as I am already inside the US. Exact details and the nature of the proposed order are still unknown. What is known is that it seems to impact those who are outside of the US processing their green cards abroad. Individuals who are spouses of US Citizens seem to also have an exception to the proposed order.

We will need to monitor the situation closely to see how and when it will be implemented and exactly who it impacts current in the AOS process.
