I had been reading this thread and it was very helpful. I just got an update and thought sharing my timeline might be helpful to someone.

Looks like my application got approved without an interview. I’m just hoping USPS do their job.

05/05/2020: Notice Date (I-485, I-765, I-131)
07/24/2020: Approval Notice (EAD/AP)

F1 visa, adjust of status. Field office: San Diego, CA

My timeline:
Apr 21: Mail was sent to me about them getting my case.
Apr 22: Got 3 messages about cases being received.
Aug 2: Got mail notification of ASC appointment.
Aug 13: Completed the fingerprints/ pic/ signature at the local Application Support Center.
Aug 13: Case was updated to show fingerprints were taken.( but travel permit didn’t update to show this, only EAD and I485)

Just got the EAD approval notice today by mail. @ Oct 23.
Also got the travel document approval notice and a notice for a biometric appointment for my travel document.
I went again for a 2nd time biometrics.

Aug 18: Ready for interview schedule (As of August 18, 2020, we are ready to schedule your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status).
Today is Mar 8, 2021, and I still haven't gotten the interview schedule yet.

My EAD card is going to expire in October 2021, I have no idea if I should apply for a renewal of my EAD card, or how long before it expires should I apply for a renewal.
Does anyone know anything about this? I saw some people with similar timeline had their interview and card in hand already by now (from other field offices), anyone in a similar situation as me? Need advice, thanks.
