My ASC is in Bellflower, Los Angeles (scheduled to open July 27). The letter was sent on July 18th. I didn't make any expedited request. My application is marriage-based AOS from F-1. My spouse is a US citizen.
Fingers crossed.

Update: Ready to be scheduled for an interview
04/18: Sent off via USPS to the Chicago lockbox
04/22: Priority date
04/23: Marked as 'DELIVERED' by USPS at 1:30am
04/27: Credit card charged $535 and $1225
04/27: USCIS accepted the I-485 fingerprint fee
04/29: Received 4 text messages with case numbers
07/17: Requested expedited EAD
07/21: EAD approved
07/31: Received biometrics appointment at ASC
08/04: I-765 status updated to "Card Was Mailed To Me"
08/12: Biometrics appointment
08/12: I-485 status changed to fingerprints taken
08/13: I-485 status changed to ready to be scheduled for an interview
The fact that it went so quickly from fingerprints taken to ready for interview makes me think that they must have kept working on our applications while the field offices and ASCs were closed. I imagine that for many of us they're only waiting for the biometrics as the last step before we are ready to be scheduled for an interview. However, judging from other experiences on this forum, it might still take months for the interview to actually be scheduled.
