Hi all, i am waiting for i485 filing under EB1. I was going through list of docs required.

1. The place of birth in my passport is different than birth certificate and Mom name is spelled in a short form in birth certificate (passport is not matching birth certificate)
2. Birth certificate has alias name (ABC alias XYZ), whereas Passport has XYZ name only.

Has anyone gone through similar situation. Will these been an issue? Appreciate any response on this.

Yes! I spoke to a attorney and they said this is 2 different things. So if you're working somewhere, just let them know you have a new EAD card.

4/05/2020 Mailed all documents to Chicago Lockbox
4/14/2020 Case Received by USCIS
4/22/2020 Received 4 texts/emails
5/08/2020 Received a yellow courtesy letter re: i-693 that states there's no need to mail i-693 but wait until either an interview or RFE
8/11/2020 Biometrics taken (turned out they applied fingerprints only to two forms - i-485 and i-131)
8/24/2020 Second biometrics appointment (fingerprints applied to i-765)
9/15/2020 New card is being produced (case status online)
9/17/2020 Case (i-131) was approved (case status online)
9/17/2020 Case (i-765) was approved (case status online)
9/18/2020 Card was mailed to me (case status online)
9/21/2020 Card was picked up by USPS (case status online, tracking # provided)
9/25/2020 EAD card received

My.USCIS.gov still to this day shows "We Received your case and do not need to do anything"

Does anybody know where i-130 for North Carolina is processed?
I wonder when my i-130 will be approved....

We haven’t applied for SSN as part of the packet. We’ll be doing it at the local ssn office.

Thanks for responding. I did opt for USCIS to request my SSN but I still haven’t received it. And all SS offices are still closed. I’ll wait for few more days and then give them a call.

L1A married to a USC. Filed for i485, i765, i131, i130 (plus a i129 to extend my L1A), all done through my attorney.

Filed: 4/27
Receipt: 5/1
Notice of Biometrics: 7/28
Biometrics Appointment: 8/13
i485 Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview: 8/14
EAD New Card Is Being Produced: 9/22
EAD / AP Card in hand: 9/30

Has anyone who received their EAD CARD and opted to get it at the same time gotten their SS card yet? Thank you.

I was worried about not receiving my SSN so I decided to call SSA office and the person on the other end told me that they mailed it out yesterday. She also asked when did I receive my EAD because she was like usually it takes us two weeks from EAD to mail out SSN, sometimes three. Apparently they’ve been getting a lot of calls from people inquiring about their SSN.

So I’d say wait for 3 after you receive your EAD. You can always call your SSA office for some piece of mind.
