I was worried about not receiving my SSN so I decided to call SSA office and the person on the other end told me that they mailed it out yesterday. She also asked when did I receive my EAD because she was like usually it takes us two weeks from EAD to mail out SSN, sometimes three. Apparently they’ve been getting a lot of calls from people inquiring about their SSN.

So I’d say wait for 3 after you receive your EAD. You can always call your SSA office for some piece of mind.

My Combo card was lost by USPS. It has been 2 weeks since the date it supposed to deliver. I contacted USPS Station manager and got a letter from him that confirmed my mail was not delivered.
I contacted to USCIS and was advised that I need to pay fee, reapply, and wait in line. HOW RIDICULOUS IS THAT?
I’ll contact Ombudsman and Congressman for help.
so disappointed with USPS now.
I was told by USPS’ staff that Priority mail is not a guarantee delivery.

Filed at the end of April, filing acknowledged and payment taken, but haven't gotten a Biometrics appointment. Is that unusual?

My receipt date was April 20th, still no biometric

Maybe you should tell them - "WHAT IS GOING ON AND I NEED THIS DONE ASAP". I think instead of being cheap, why don't you hire and lawyer and have them take care of this if you need it so badly?

Same, no biometric for me either Every time I call they just keep filing a new inquiry. Nobody response to the inquiry

I just checked my case status and it turns out my interview was scheduled two days ago! Now waiting for the interview notice with the actual date...

04/29: Received 4 text messages with case numbers
07/17: Requested expedited EAD
07/21: EAD approved
07/31: Received biometrics appointment at ASC
08/04: I-765 status updated to "Card Was Mailed To Me"
08/12: Biometrics appointment
08/12: I-485 status changed to fingerprints taken
08/13: I-485 status changed to ready to be scheduled for an interview
10/19: Interview scheduled (FO: Boston, MA)

My case: I am a USC, applying for my mom: i-130, i-485, i-131, i-765. We live in Charlotte, NC

4/05/2020 Mailed all documents to Chicago Lockbox
4/14/2020 Case Received by USCIS
4/22/2020 Received 4 texts/emails
5/08/2020 Received a yellow courtesy letter re: i-693 that states there's no need to mail i-693 but wait until either an interview or RFE
8/11/2020 Biometrics taken (turned out they applied fingerprints only to two forms - i-485 and i-131)
8/24/2020 Second biometrics appointment (fingerprints applied to i-765)
9/15/2020 New card is being produced (case status online)
9/17/2020 Case (i-131) was approved (case status online)
9/17/2020 Case (i-765) was approved (case status online)
9/18/2020 Card was mailed to me (case status online)
9/21/2020 Card was picked up by USPS (case status online, tracking # provided)
9/25/2020 EAD card received
10/21/2020 SSN card received (card issued 10/13/2020)

My timeline:
Apr 21: Mail was sent to me about them getting my case.

Same to me. I had done my biometric in Aug. I also received my EAD and AP. However, I received another appointment for biometric today (on the form said it is for i765 and i131).
I don’t know what to do. I think I should call to 1800 on Monday.
