  • Employment Based Final Action Date is now current. What's next?

I hope you can help me.

I'm on EB1-C Category and my final action date is current as of today. Can you please help me know what to expect in this process? What should I anticipate to receive from USCIS next? How long do you think the waiting time would be to get an interview schedule?

Also, times are very uncertain and lay-offs are happening. No one is safe. In case I lose my job, is there a way my adjustment of status can still proceed?

I'll definitely consult my lawyers about this but I'd still hope you can respond.

    Thank you!

Your PD is current and you still waiting for your interview. Offices are closed for interview until at least June 4. If your package is complete (I-693 too), they can either a) waive the interview or b) schedule an interview when they reopen.

They will, most likely, do a final review now that your PD is current. I hope they waive the interview and you get your GC this month. If you get the GC before any change in job status, then there is no problem. I'm sorry but I don't know what would happen if you get unemployed before getting the GC. Good luck.
Nov 2018 - Package sent - EB - Texas Service Center
Day 1 - Package received at the lockbox
Day 999 - Card delivered to me - Aug 2021

Thank you very much. Unfortunately, my lawyers didn't submit my medical exam. So I am anticipating an RFE to provide it.

Oh, if that is the case then yes, you should receive an RFE asking for the medical to be mailed if they are going to approve without interview.
