Yes my case starts with MSC and I have not received anything just did bio after 9 months and nothing else. I call and put request in for outside of processing Time and even that does not do anything. Also I know people who have filed after me and they got everything approved.

Hi all,
My I-485 application was approved today! I'd like to share my timeline and hope it helps everyone.
Employment-based Green card (From H1B to GC)
EB2 ROW.
Fresno FO
PD 02/06/2020
Below is my timeline:
02/06/20 I-140 received (Premium Processing)
02/28/20 I-140 approved
05/08/20 I-485/I-131/I-765 application received
05/29/20 Requested for initial evidence for Form I-485 (Medical Exam)
06/15/20 RFE received
08/12/20 Biometric completed and applied to I-485/I-765 applications
------ No update, nothing since August 12 -------------
11/1/20 - 1/31/21 Filed online Service Request twice for I-131 outside normal processing time at NBC. First time I did not get any response after 30 business days. Chat with USCIS rep via EMMA. Advised to submit second SR. Got a response 30 days after the 2nd request submitted said ‘Referral number SRxxxxx , is currently not assigned for processing’. Contacts USCIS via EMMA again. I was advised to do expedite request, I need AP to travel to home country due to my H1B visa stamp expired and US embassy in my home country closed for general visa service because of COVID.
2/1/21 Lawyer contact USCIS for I-131 Expedite request humanitarian reason (death in the family, translated death certificate submitted.)
2/2/21 USCIS received request for expedite processing
2/8/21 Request to have your case expedited, referral number T YYYY MSC, was assigned to an officer for response.
2/8/21 Request to have your case expedited, referral number T YYYY MSC, was completed.
2/8/21 We ordered your new card (I-765/I-131)
2/9/21 We approved your Form I-765
2/16/21 Combo card delivered
2/17/21 NOAs for I-765 and I-131 delivered
2/25/21 We ordered your new card (I-485), and will mail it to the address you gave us.
2/26/21 Case Was Approved. We approved your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSC YYYY XX
So, right now just waiting for USCIS to mail the card and NOA for I-485. No interview ever scheduled. I think my case was adjudicated at NBC because I was told that my case was still at NBC when I chat with USCIS rep and NOA for my I-131/I-765 was mailed from NBC. Only time I went to Fresno Application Service Center was when I did my Biometric.
Also my online egov.uscis status was updated right away. I also download the app 'Case tracker' on my phone so it links to my online USCIS account.
Good luck everyone!Last edited by May2020; 02-28-2021, 01:16 PM.

[QUOTE=Oty;n755106]Congrats!!! What a positive sign, especially knowing interviews being waived which will accelerate throughput.
Thank you. I think USCIS has been waiving a lot of employment-based GC interview. My co-worker who filed hers AOS in February 2020 and got her approval in September also got her interview waived. But she received interview schedule for July but got cancelled due to COVID. She never got her interview rescheduled nor received her combo card, but the case went straight to her I-485 was approved.

UPDATE:
Case status changed on 3/22 to "RFIE was sent", we were very nervous, but to our surprise when we received it in mail, it only mentions to submit 2 passport size photos for my wife and I.
Responded already with 2 photos, awaiting next steps from USCIS. Anybody had a similar RFIE?

Finally, got the 485 status changed to "New card is being produced..."
Filed 485 EB3 in May 2020
BIO in Aug 2020
693 RFE in Nov 2020
EAD in May 2021 (after put the expedited request)
Was frustrated with the wait, had stopped checking the status for the last few months.
We have to be really patient and will get there soon...
