Hi;

My partner and I are currently filling out the I-130 form and have a few questions.

Page 7:

47)Passport number: Have that.
48)Travel document number: ????
50) Expiration date for passport or travel document: The new passport's expiration?


I lost the passport that had my B1/B2 visa in it. I no longer have that passport but a new passport.

Is the travel document the same as the passport number?

Should I type both same numbers in there?

By travel document, they mean a non-passport travel document, like a Refugee Travel Document or similar document for stateless people, etc. You would fill in either passport number or travel document, but not both. If you put in the passport number, you can put N/A for travel document number.
