Work authorization

Hi,
I am going to file I485, based on marriage with US citizen do I also need to submit application for work authorization? even if I already have work authorization expiring in a year as I am pending decision on asylum and filed work authorization form last year?

I-765 is optional and free if you are on FB (marriage) AOS. I guess you can keep working with your current work authorization until you get your GC.

I don't know much about asylum, do you have to pay to renew your work authorization?

Yes, I have to renew it every 2 years and pay almost $300
