I live in a more rural part of Missouri, so I'm a little nervous to go to the city because most of the big cities around me have had riots and not so peaceful protests... So hopefully that won't be an issue at all and I can have my interview safely and with no issues. I feel everyone's pain of having to wait so long for interviews. I was a week away from mine in March when they canceled due to covid. I've been waiting over a year now. I'll be sure to keep everyone updated.

Don't worry too much about riots or protest. These will not be the reason you get or don't get your PR. You should be worry more about COVID19 and the administration that don't want you to be here. People can protest ("riots") for the right all days and every day. You do realize all these delay and redo of the US immigration system have nothing to do with protest and/or riots in the street.

Yes, I know the riots have nothing to do with the temporary stop of immigration processes. I just meant I hope the streets are clear enough to get to my interview. Plus I want my wife to be safe.

I'm in St. Louis, you won't have any problems here. If you need to come, just check to see if there are any protests scheduled downtown that day, but really you just want to make sure that your driving route won't overlap with the route for the protest, to avoid being stuck in traffic. You're not going to run into any trouble though. Good luck!

No, not yet. I'm still waiting for the mail to come with the actual appointment notice. I just read on my Case Status that I had been scheduled.

Hey all! I got my appointment notice in the mail today and my appointment is scheduled for August 4th at the Kansas City, MO office. So it looks like they're still scheduling interviews about a month to 5 weeks away.

I also have another weird question that I hope someone might know the answer to..
We live in southern Missouri and the St. Louis Field Office is WAY closer to us than the Kansas City one. I'm wondering if I could possibly move my Interview to St. Louis? Or if that's even a possibility? It would save us 3+ hours of driving.
