Adjudication is a fancy word for ‘making a decision’.
Relax - they can not apply I-944 until injunction is lifted.

If thats the case then we would need to hope that the national emergency on corona stays until the interview cuz thats when the decision is made really isnt it?
Unlikely that the emergency would stay for that long !!

Reesh1900 - this is not current information at all, but my friends who filed in TX two years ago had an awful time with that office. They lost their applications!!!

I have not submitted my transcripts either, but lawyer said 1040 and W2 should be fine - they give more information than transcript. I'm not able to still get my transcripts online - its unable to verify my information correctly.

Also feel that I944 would be ignored for us since I believe that our application hasnt yet been 'adjudicated'. If USCIS planned to apply public charge only to applications that came in after 29th July it would that more clearly. But anyway who knows what happens inside. On one side this should speed up things - cuz i feel that most people in there would need more time to apply public charge rule assuming they dont get furloughed. Im pretty sure there is a lot of chaos withing USCIS right now regd everything - furloughs + DACA + H1B ban + corona + ever changing policies of this administration.

Your and my case is similar in that sense - lets see what happens...fingers crossed.

My attorney also said 1040+W2 were fine, so I assumed that he has had successful experiences with only these two. I freaked out a bit some days ago when I saw someone here asking about tax transcripts. I cannot get mine online either as the verification fails (tried with 6 different credit cards and with my mortgage number...). I have ordered transcripts by mail just in case but not sure how long that will take.

7/17/2020 - package (I-130, I-130A, I-485, I-131, I-693, I-765, I-864, I-944) sent to Chicago Lockbox via USPS
7/22/2020 - package delivered to USPS post office in Chicago - status in transit
8/5/2020 - checks cashed, USPS tracking status still in transit

- 7/2/2020 - Package received by Chicago office and signed by Harper
- No receipt and or reply for 1 month
- 8/5/2020 - We called USCIS number and were told that the receipt notice was mailed today (yay!)
- Online bank account not showing the check cashed.

Is this normal to have receipt notice mailed but check is not cashed yet? Will the receipt notice really be on way?
EDIT: Check cashed today one day after they mailed the receipt.

07/17/2020 Application delivered and received at the Chicago Lock box

No- without payment, USCIS will not issue receipt-Unless they reject it again. You should email the lockbox. Why they did not give you a receipt number to track this

Thanks Everyone for all the support. Just got the notification that one of the checks has been cashed, awaiting the other one to go through and the receipt number. Will keep everyone posted.

Just got 4 text messages with receipt numbers and I-797 to follow in the mail. After adding the case numbers on the USCIS website, it says that my case was received on August 4th so I guess that is my PD?
