Does the bottom portion of your marriage receipt that you sent to USCIS have any blank spaces that were to filled out by county office?
Or any other blank spaces/missing info?

You're absolutely right, that maybe the issue. What I sent is just a receipt, no seals, no stamps, just a "copy, payment receipt". Crossing fingers so that's nothing super serious.

Seems like the average timeline for checks being cashed is around 10-14 days after the package has been received. Is that right?

It was exactly 14 days in my case between the package being received and receiving the text messages with case numbers.

Hey. I got one NOA, now awaiting for my Spouse’s .. it took almost 4 weeks for the 1st one. Will keep you posted.

Yesterday i got an update for my case:

On July 29, 2020, we sent a request for initial evidence for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSC209 **** **** **. The request for evidence explains what we need from you. We will not take action on your case until we receive the evidence or the deadline to submit it expires. Please follow the instructions in the request for evidence. If you do not receive your request for evidence by August 13, 2020, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

The RFE was about my birth certificate.

I am presuming they didn't send the original birth certificate, only the translation.

Received 4 NOAs I-797C in the mail today, for I-130/131/485/765
Priority date for I-130/465 listed as July 23rd.

Received the NOA for the 485s today (nothing on all the other forms)..

EB2 (I140/G28/I485/I131/I765/I944).

07/29/2020 - Received by USCIS
08/10/2020 - 485s NOA

The day arrived. I just got my RFIE in the mail, came in written on a yellow sheet of paper.

In the I-864 we listed that my partner's income for this year would be $48,000. USCIS is asking for pay stubs for the past 6 months and a letter of employment. THAT'S IT! They said in the letter that the amount listed is considered to be sufficient. We included an I-864 joint sponsor, we may not even need him.

I guess if they needed anything else they would've asked in the same letter? I was worried about our marriage certificate because I didn't send the actual certificate, we sent just a receipt we got at the city hall they day of the ceremony. Maybe include the actual certificate with this response?

We have 87 days to reply.

I will mail this back as certified mail.

-08/05/20: Received RFIE notification from USCIS for I-485, letter to follow via mail.

And not the original one in home country language, and now they wanna see that?

What all had you included for the proving your partners income originally? Just wondering what proof wasn't sufficient for them.
I would still you should send the marriage certificate if that's not a problem as per your lawyer.
