Hi guys, I sent out my documents to the Chicago office on 7/28. The package was delivered on 7/29. Fourteen days passed since then, still no receipt so far. Is there a delay due to the COVID situation? I read through other people's posts seems like they got receipt after 15-20 days lately.

My timeline:
sent out package 7/28
received and signed by Chicago office 7/29
no receipt so far as 8/12

I called the bank they said I have to go to the bank to find out since mine was cashier check. Maybe I’ll go there tomorrow.

Sent an email to USCIS lockbox to inquire about the application. Says should hear in 30 days!

I wonder how the USCIS will work with 30% workforce being furloughed soon.

Same situation. Got I-693 request for medical but nothing after that.
Waiting for biometrics now. Also nothing happens on the weekend.
And god knows whats gonna happen after the furloughs

I finally got the receipt from USCIS today!! Oddly they send messages on Sundays. I got my receipt for I130 and I485 (didn't apply for EAD and 131). Now waiting for the mail to come.

Nothing yet. How much time does it usually take after receipt notices ?

No notice for biometrics. I'm little weirded out - I got the I693 yellow notice even before a biometrics appointment.
Furloughs are definitely coming now - the Congress has gone on a break with no stimulus deal in sight.
Expect major delays.

What exactly does the RFIE say they want in terms of a birth certificate?
Did you include the copy of original birth certificate in foreign language AND the English translation or just the english translation?
