Yeah been waiting for 2 months now and no biometrics notice. Agree with reesh1900 that there seems to be a consistent 4-month lag between NOAs and biometrics. Only cases I have seen with scheduled biometrics are non-marriage based AOS.

This is just plain awful !!
I just called USCIS cuz I wanted to expedite my EAD but they said since my biometrics were not done yet they wont expedite my request for EAD.
They also said that right now the normal wait time before you can even ask for biometrics is 90 days from the date of receipt notice and not the usual 30 days.
So basically you can only call for bimetrics after 90 days from receipt and then only once that is done, you can request an expedited EAD.
What is one expected to do if they have a job offer and need an EAD or their relative dies from COVID and need an AP travel card for emergency?!?!?!
This is a joke !! And its not even funny !!
It’s so frustrating, I’m on day 55 since AOS, and waiting for biometric appt. I enquired about missing RFIE on Monday 21 Sept ( been WFH at my in-laws in Ohio but my usual address is San Francisco) since I hadn’t heard anything I assumed maybe they sent an RFIE in the mail and just didn’t email/ text.
Got a response Friday 25 Sept saying biometrics have been received ,there is no RFE and case is under process. But the glitch is I’ve never done biometrics !!??
But agree seems the marriage based AOS are taking longer avg 4 months.adjustment from L1A , married to USC
filed I-485, I-765,I-130, I-131
29 July : mailed via FedEx
03 Aug: Received in Chicago lockbox
12 Aug: fingerprint fee received
14 Aug: text msg received by my spouse (USC)
16 Aug: NOA in mail with received date 3 Aug (day 1)
04 Sept: I-693 medical deficiency notice in mail

Hi all, i am waiting for i485 filing. I was going through list of docs required.
1. The place of birth in my passport is different than birth certificate and Mom name is spelled in a short form in birth certificate (passport is not matching birth certificate)
2. Birth certificate has alias name (ABC alias XYZ), whereas Passport has XYZ name only.
Has anyone gone through this situation? Will these been an issue? Appreciate any response on this.
Thanks

Those who filed family based Adjustment of Status, while also having an approved I-140, I have a question. I have an approved I-140, but currently I am applying AOS based on I-130 in F2A category.
I am working on form I-944. In part 4, the form asks if you have an approved I-140 and you can skip the rest of part 4 if you do. Can I / Should I say that I have approved I-140? The reason I am confused is because what if that question is intended for employment based AOS only, and they expect that family based AOS to provide all the details in part 4. I wouldn't want my application denied due to not filling this part.
On the other hand, being able to skip that part would be great relief for me. This part asks about education qualifications (which I have enough), and asks to provide equivalency if your education was outside US. This could be a pain I think.
Foreign education should include an evaluation of equivalency to education or degrees acquired at accredited colleges, universities, or educational institutions in the United States. For a list of organizations that provide equivalency evaluation, see the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES), at http://www.naces.org/members.htm.F2A, Spouse of LPR.
