    Why do you say that? Even F1 guys have to get biometrics done to get the F1 visa so it does exist in the system even if you just had F1 before filing AOS.
    Currently on F1 OPT - Married to USC - Concurrent filing.

    7-Jul-2020 AOS Application mailed to USCIS
    9-Jul-2020 AOS Application Delivered to USCIS Mail Room (Priority Date)
    27-Jul-2020 Four I-797 SMS & Email Recieved at 11:20PM
    4-Aug-2020 Four Mails Received in My & Attorney Mailbox
    11-Aug-2020 I-693 Medical Deficiency Notice dated 6th Aug 2020
    22-Aug-2020 Put in a request for missing biometircs notice w/ USCIS

        I was on F-1 for 6 years and only did biometrics at the Embassy and when entering the country by CBP. As far as I know those biometrics cannot be used by USCIS. Same for H-1B (which I am on now), in which case I don't even think I ever did Embassy biometrics only at the Border when entering the country.

        08/10/2020 - NOAs in the mail
        12/29/2020 - Bio appt dated 12/12 for 1/8
        01/08/2021 - Bio appt, status changed to fingerprints taken
        01/15/2021 - I-485 ready to schedule interview
        02/08/2021 - Interview was scheduled
        02/13/2021 - Interview notice for 03/18
        03/18/2021 - Interview complete
        03/19/2021 - New card is being produced
        03/22/2021 - Case was approved

        • My timeline so far:

          -01/27/20: Same sex couple, married to USC.
          -06/29/20: Package I-130, I-130A, I-131, I-485, I-693, I-765, I-864, I-864 joint sponsor and I-944 sent via certified mail USPS.
          -06/30/20: Delivered by USPS and signed by Chicago lockbox T Thomas.
          -07/25/20: Checks cashed.
          -07/30/20: Text messages received with case confirmation numbers.
          -07/31/20: Received NOA's in the mail.
          -08/05/20: Received RFIE notification from USCIS for I-485, letter to follow via mail.
          -08/10/20: Received RFIE in the mail asking for my partner's pay stubs for the last 6 months and letter of employment.
          -09/18/20: Mailed out RFIE to LeeSummit's office.
          -09/21/20: USCIS confirms they've received RFIE.

          As of 10/20/2020 NO UPDATES, NO BIO-METRICS APPOINTMENT, NOTHING!

          • Thanks. Yes I have asylum case. Maybe that's why I didn't get biometric appointment. I pray God to get interview waive.

            • Thanks all for your help and support in filing the application and walking me through the steps and stages involved. I received Case Approved status update for both I-130 and I-485 at myuscis online tracker.

              Overall time from documents reaching Lockbox to receiving online approval = 3 months.
              USC filed AOS for parents on B2. I am not a lawyer.

              7/21 <— 2 sets of I-130/485/944/864/131/765/693 reached Chicago Lockbox
              8/4 <— Checks cashed
              8/5 <— I-797 SMS
              8/24 <— Biometrics completed
              10/19 <— I-485 ("New Card Is Being Produced")

                Wow, Congratulations to you and your parents. Gives me hope that my case will be processed soon. I have been following your posts particularly here as I am also a Parent being petitioned.
                I am 3 weeks behind your filing, although no Biometrics yet passing my 70th day. Thank you for all your updates.

                    To be honest, I am not sure. My NOA receipts starts with MSC and its says NBC on the lower left. I live in East Bay... San Francisco, CA.

                          Was it a courtesy notes or RFE from NBC to send medical (i-693)? How long does it take for them to update receipt of RFE?

                            Yes it was RFE for i693. The rfe was saying that i have to make my medical and five that to them when i go to my i485 interview. Right now my case is stuck on RFE received on August 25. Since then i do not have any updates

                            • I called today USCIS and I opened an Injury from the phone about my missing biometrics appointments.

                              I have to wait the usual 30 days for a response.

                              • I got a couple email this morning saying "We have taken an action on your case". However all my receipt statuses remains the same. Anyone knows what that means?
