I got a couple email this morning saying "We have taken an action on your case". However all my receipt statuses remains the same. Anyone knows what that means?

I did that already, thats why they sent me the emails but nothing was updated there either...

Has anyone gotten biometrics appointments yet? My PD is 06/30/2020. Nothing so far.

My timeline so far:

-01/27/20: Same sex couple, married to USC.
-06/29/20: Package I-130, I-130A, I-131, I-485, I-693, I-765, I-864, I-864 joint sponsor and I-944 sent via certified mail USPS.
-06/30/20: Delivered by USPS and signed by Chicago lockbox T Thomas.
-07/25/20: Checks cashed.
-07/30/20: Text messages received with case confirmation numbers.
-07/31/20: Received NOA's in the mail.
-08/05/20: Received RFIE notification from USCIS for I-485, letter to follow via mail.
-08/10/20: Received RFIE in the mail asking for my partner's pay stubs for the last 6 months and letter of employment.
-09/18/20: Mailed out RFIE to LeeSummit's office.
-09/21/20: USCIS confirms they've received RFIE.

USCIS Case update system is not working correctly. Several people have noticed incorrect/old status. I also saw similar email while status shown is out of date.
At this point, one can wait for official notice in the mail or if update is outside expected time for a response, contact them directly over phone and try to get update.

Same here, crickets. They never got back to you on the missing biometrics, rohjas ?

One thing I'd suggest for those filing AOS would be to try and submit a complete package including I-693 if possible. The form stays valid for 2 years which is enough time for a decision. It helps avoid the RFE which can slow things down. Just my $0.02.

Thanks. That's what my attorney recommended as well, so I submitted it along with the application.

So my attorney told me not to do medical until I got my interview notice. I received my notice last week and had to scramble to find an appointment. I called maybe 5-6 offices before finding someone able to do it before my interview date. A lot of places were booked a month or two out, and one even the rest of the year, so I totally agree with you. I guess there’s been a shortage of supplies one office said (not sure what supplies they mean, blood vials?)

Nope nothing. Called them - they took a request and said wait 30 days to respond on the request itself. What a joke.

^I've seen a couple of marriage based July filers getting their bio appointments this week. Hopefully ours will come soon.

So again i got emails from USCIS saying "We have taken an action on your case" , i previously got this message Oct. 27 and again this morning Oct. 29. When i check my case status nothing has changed, wondering if its a hiccup with their system, sending false notification. May be a bit too soon to tell but nothing in the mail either.

Has anyone ever heard of the action taken email but nothing was actually done?

I dont know how to make my profile come at the bottom of my page but i'll write it over again.

I came in in 2013, been married since 2012. we have kids together a set of twins 10 years old and live in south new jersey.
We sent our files the chicago location.
I filed forms i-130&i-130a, i-1485, i-864, i-944, i-131 and i-765.
Timeline so far:

July 18, 2020: Package delivered to Lockbox location
July 20, 2020: Priority Date
August 7, 2020: Fingerprint fee was accepted
August 11 2020: money orders cashed
August 28, 2020: Notice for fingerprint
September 10, 2020: Fingerprint done
October 1st, 2020: Fingerprint was applied to case.

Received an email to an action was taken on my case, checked my status and nothing changed so i called them.

Told me an interview was scheduled.
