For folks who are using a lawyer here...just curious what did your lawyer fill in Form G28 - Part 4 - 1a to 1c - Option Regarding Receipt of USCIS notices documents. See image for what im talking about. He told me its standard practice for lawyers to check those boxes in 1a and 1b. IS that true?

Im little concerned that because of this im not sure if USCIS will mail me documents etc and I will have to keep following up with my lawyer.

I filed with an attorney and none of the boxes in part 4, 1a to 1c were checked.

You get text notification, when you send form G-1145 with your application

I did send G-1145. But, this is what it says on the form "This service is available for applications filed at a USCIS Lockbox facility" so wondering if it only applies to the USPS Lockbox and not UPS, FedEx etc.

You can use USPS, UPS or Fedex to send to the USCIS lockbox. There is no USPS lockbox, though when using USPS to send to the USCIS lockbox, it goes to a P.O. Box first for USCIS to pick up from.

Anyway, if you added G-1145, you should receive confirmation once they accept your case on your chosen number or email/both. Regardless of what post service you used.

Great news this morning! My credit card payment is processing - it came up under "Chicago Lockbox." Assuming this means that I sent in all the right forms and everything was appropriately signed! Hopefully the text message receipts come through by Monday.

In other news - I read that Public Charge rule has been blocked by a Federal judge during the pandemic. I tried posting a link but the admin removed it. Not sure what the DHS is going to do about it. And if it will apply to us since we filed before the ruling. And also the Republican proposed relief bill does contain the money for USCIS so hopefully they are not planning to let the furlough go through.

Also I read online on ********* yesterday that USCIS only accepts Tax Transcript for I944 and NOT 1040s. And I realize I have only submitted 1040s and W2s for the 2019 tax year as IRS takes a long time to process Tax Transcripts and the fact that I had only recently filed for the 2019 tax returns. Just curious as to what did you guys submit for 2019 tax year for I944?

I was able to download my 2019 Tax Transcript off the IRS website -- I filed mine online in June this year and was able to access them by July. Hope this helps.

Great News.. Am still waiting, been more than 2 weeks but no news from USCIS Texas. Any July filers who've sent to Texas ?

Yeah I did the same cuz the lawyer said so, but just read an article on how that's not acceptable. I guess we cannot do anything now and just wait for USCIS to say what it has to say.

The priority date in the receipts say June 30th 2020. I honestly don't even know what priority date means, I'm marriage base from B1/B2.

Priority date has little meaning for marriage based AOS applications but it does mean that your application was received and USCIS started working on it on 30th June even though you got the notices one month later. It was just useless worry that USCIS made you go through by not sending the notices sooner despite the fact that it started working on it.
