Are you the one providing the I-864? If so, pls do refer to I-864 instructions about the transcripts, W-2s etc. Maybe that will help to clarify the reason for the request for W-2s.
USC filed AOS for parents on B2. I am not a lawyer.

Then, that might explain it all. The required tax transcripts in the I-944 is for the applicant. The petitioner send W2s and 1040 or tax transcript for I-864. Then again, the information is likely to be the same. I guess, you will need to send them with some clear explanation.

Thanks, that's bit of relief. Since I had to submit I-944 and not I-864 thus only submitted transcripts as mentioned. Now waiting for USCIS to revert.

It took almost a whole month for them to approve my applications and send me the official NOA's. With all the covid delays it seems like they're a little behind.

                    Good luck!

Why you don't have to submit I-864? do you have your 40 qualifying quarters?

                        • Never-mind! I saw you are employment based. No need for I-864. By the way, I am assuming you will be sending your 1040 and W2 since these are readily avail.

I emailed the lockbox and ask them what was the status of my application and they never replied. a few days later I got my notifications so I don't know if that has something to do with it.

I sent them an email on Friday and have them a call yesterday. No reply to the email yet and on phone she couldn’t help coz it’s not in the system yet.
