  • Didn't get an update with the USCIS. But the payment was charged on the credit card 32 days later. Also, received a rejection notice for I765 due to missing page in the form. Not sure if it was misplaced. But the gears are turning.

Any info how long can a advance parole take if applied later?

    • I received my I797C for i485 in mail yesterday, but nothing for i130 except text message. Is there i797C for i130 too? Or just i485?

        • Urgent help RFIE

          08-24-2020, 01:00 PM
Hi guys, I have a quick question and thanks in advance for your reply.
          Same sex couple here.
My partner is the petitioner. He was unemployed untill March 01 2020 when he got a side job at a hair salon. His boss gave him an offer letter in which says he can make up to $48K this year. However, because of business being so slow due to covid he's made about $6K only so far.
We sent the documents to USCIS on June 29th, and we got a RFIE on August 5th asking for his pay stubs, and letter of employment.
What is driving us crazy is that we typed $48K as the current anual income in the I-864, and we are now trying to see how to explain this to USCIS. This is our only shot.
We have a joint sponsor who's included in the original package. I already got the joint sponsor pay stubs and letter of employment. We got a joined the sponsor because for the past year my partner didn't have an income, so I thought it was a good idea to actually have a join a sponsor just in case. Our join sponsor makes over 100k a year.
My partner's boss pays him cash, thru venmo. However he says his boss will give him actual pay stubs.
I am just scared that immigration will come back and say "hey, you started this job in March, and till today you've made $6K only, if you filed in June, why did you say $48K If the year is almost over?".....
          Maybe I'm over thinking?
You're help is very much appreciated.
          Thx!

Thanks so much for all the help! Do ya'll know if the sponsor also has to change address under USCIS website? Sponsor is my husband and we live together but not sure if his information also needs to be updated as well.

Same question for joint sponsor. In this case, they are moving out of state, would they have to update their address as well?

Its just a letter saying that since I did not submit I-693 medical form (by choice) in the initial package, I will need to either bring it to interview, if and when it happens or they will send a separate RFE requesting for it in case the interview is waived. Standard notice from what I understand when one doesnt sent I693 with initial package.

Silence since NOAs for me too other than this notice. No bio, nothing !
