Awaiting Biometrics in Elizabeth, NJ. Got the NOAs on August 5 [RD July 13th]

Been 66 days since AOS package delivery and no communication regarding bio-metrics yet!!
This is just plain awful !!

I just called USCIS cuz I wanted to expedite my EAD but they said since my biometrics were not done yet they wont expedite my request for EAD.
They also said that right now the normal wait time before you can even ask for biometrics is 90 days from the date of receipt notice and not the usual 30 days.

So basically you can only call for bimetrics after 90 days from receipt and then only once that is done, you can request an expedited EAD.
What is one expected to do if they have a job offer and need an EAD or their relative dies from COVID and need an AP travel card for emergency?!?!?!

This is a joke !! And its not even funny !!

I have head that USCIS had layoff 800 people at at the NBC in Kansas City which may explain why so much delay for Biometrics. Can you also put real date instead of number day since you send the application? It requires us to do math to figure out what date you sent your application.

Yay- I just want to be able to see how I am progressing in the process compare with people who file around the same time with me. How do you put a missing request for biometrics? I took mine on 08/28 for the I-765 but they still have not applied it. I called and they told me they have received it but they just have not updated the file yet which is weird cause they normally take 1 day to show biometrics is received.

If you login to your USCIS account, there is a place to put in request for missing mail etc. and thats where I put in my request.
Dont bother though, they havent responded to me in 20+ days and they wont even though the deadline for responding was 13th Sept

Just my timeline so far:

-01/27/2020: Same sex couple, married to USC
-06/29/2020: Package I-130, I-130A, I-131, I-485, I-693, I-765, I-864, I-864 joint sponsor and I-944 sent via certified mail USPS.
-06/30/2020: Delivered by USPS and and signed by Chicago lockbox L Thomas.
-07/25/2020: received 4 NOA's via text messages.
-07/30/2020: received official NOA letters with rcpt numbers.
-08/05/2020: received RFIE asking for pay stubs and letter of employment for petitioner.
09/17/2020: mailed out RFIE to USCIS via USPS express mail.

No, it hasn't been approved yet - radio silence after the case being transferred to a local office

I also haven't gotten my biometrics appointment notice yet and starting to get worried. I just moved to a new apartment and changed my address with USCIS immediately the day of the move on Sept. 1st and also changed address with USPS to forward any mail starting Aug. 28th.
Any advice to double check if my NOA could have been lost in the mail? Applying from MN if this is relevant at all.

We had a RFIE that we submitted August 25. Still no notice of biometrics appt.

What was your RFIE about? Mine was about my partner's pay stubs and letter of employment.

My date of NOA is very close to yours and eagerly awaiting biometrics at my end too. However, I feel there is a 4 month wait to get the appointment post NOA date. Right now May 2020 filers are getting appointments.

Just my calculation, others please chime in.
