  • Passport photos - CVS wont do them, any other stores?

I called my local CVS and they told me they're not doing passport photos in their store due to COVID/mask requirements. Anyone know if UPS or Costco are doing passport photos, or another place we can go?
USC filed AOS for parents on B2. I am not a lawyer.

I was gonna suggest what Tibwa has already suggested. Apart from saving money, its actually easier for you to take your pictures than you ever think! Let me share what I did:
          i. Get a good phone with a good camera;
ii. take your own picture - it's better to take the picture outside (in your patio/terrace/porch) with a good amount of light and also with a white background.
          v. Download the picture and print it online at CVS or Wallgreens. You just need to go unto their website, place an order, and have them deliver the pictures to you or go pick them up.
vi. You get hold of the pictures, you use scissors or any sharp tool, to cut the pictures out. EASY!

I wish you well and if you're able to do this, please let us know how it goes.

Walgreens does passport pictures in store too. I took mines in April in the middle of the pandemic in NYC.

Did mine at UPS. They were cheaper than Walgreens, and didn't screw up the dimensions (I had to get a refund from Walgreens, in fact).

Pay attention to some of the wording from USCIS re: size, proportions, and measurements from different elements of your face!

I am posting what I did in case others search this:

This is for if you have a printer:

                  1) Go to CVS or any Pharmacy and ask an employee if you can use their white backdrop. Most will not care at all.

                  2) Take clear photos using a digital camera or smartphone. I used an iPhone 6 for mine. Examples of good photos can be found here: https://travel.state.gov/content/tra...ly/photos.html

                  3) Upload the photos to https://www.idphoto4you.com/ and follow the steps. This website only stores your images while you are using the website and deletes them once you download them. There is a disclaimer that notifies of this.

                  4) Buy glossy photo paper and print the photos

If you do not have a printer, you can follow the steps above and just take the cropped passport photos to CVS, Walmart or whereever and print them. The website I listed above also puts guide lines on the photos so you know where to cut. I had regular scissors and cut them.

USCIS accepted all of my applications and the total cost of the passport photos was like 3 USD for the cost of the Photo Paper and that was for a total of 12 photos I had to send.

With how much places charge for passport photos, I might consider opening a photo booth for only passport photos considering the actual cost to take and print is cheap.
