also try Googling for this and you will find a lot of links explaining that an AR-11 needs to be filed promptly.

US citizens do not need to file for AR-11
They only need to notify USCIS of the address change for pending application. This enables USCIS to send corrospondence about the case to the new address. USCIS mail cannot be forwarded.
