  • How long does it takes for EAD "being produced" to "mailed to me"? Thanks!

    Hello,

Hope everyone stays safe and healthy!

My I-765 EAD renewal status updated to "Card being produced" in early July and but still shows that after almost two weeks......I assume it should only take 2-3 days.....

Should I call USCIS to address this or is there a timeframe I should wait? I read some posts saying it might take 3 months for this status to change......due to photo problems, etc...

    Thanks very much!

Usually, one receives the card a week after the approval.

Unfortunately, USCIS is having budget and printer issues and maybe that’s the reason why you still haven’t received your card. There was an article about it published a week ago. Look it up, it’s an opinion piece published on Washington Post.

My Husband’s EAD was approved on 6/19 and the status changed to mailed to me on 7/9. So it took 3 weeks for him! He just got the card yesterday.
