My father (PR) filed Petition for Alien Relative for me (F1 status, unmarried one over 21) in Feb 2005 and he got the US citizenship in 2009.
However, we did not contact USCIS to update so my I-130 case status in Calfornia processing center is still "Initial Review"
In my case, should I contact USCIS first to update and wait for my notice of approval or file I-485 now?
Please give me some advise.
