EAD renewal

Hi all, for those who have submitted EAD renewals in June 2020 and later, what edition of the form was used. I have seen some posts about rejections of the renewal due to using outdated forms despite using the latest edition as provided on the USCIS web page which is the 12/26/19 edition date with an expiration of 5/31/2020. Is there a newer form, that I'm not aware of, and has anyone experienced this renewal rejections? thanks

Hi there,

Currently filling up my EAD Combo Card renewal form applications (Form I-765 and Form I-131).

I downloaded the "12/26/19" for I-765 and "04/24/19" for I-131. These forms were sent to me via the customer service chatbot, so I assume these forms are the latest ones. How weird. Any new updates regarding this issue?

I have a question though, hope you could help me. What should I answer to "What is your current immigration status or category?" Should I say: "Adjustment Applicant (c)(9)" ?

How did you answer yours?

Note that in the "Last Immigration at your last arrival" question, my answer is B2-Visitor, this was before applying for adjustment. As I've said I'm already applying for an EAD renewal.

How did you answer the "Current Immigration status or category" when you're filling for an EAD renewal? This is Part 2, question 25 of Form I-765

I have never done a renewal, but if it were me i would write INA 245 - C9 - I485 AOS or similar to what you suggested and include both a copy of your current C9 EAD + I485 receipt. Perhaps someone else knows.

I read somewhere that they write "Pending I-485" and they didn't have any problems. Thank you for your answer as well!
