Is there a different processing time for different type of AOS?

Hi everyone,

I'm on F1, doing AOS to F2B (family based). My mom (Green Card Holder) sponsored me. My receipts date for (i-485, i765 and i-130) is April 20th. I filed in late March.

I see on this forum and a few other posts on Immihelp Experience that people who filed the same time as me are receiving Biometric Letter (yay!)

I was wondering if there are any differences in processing time if I'm from F1 -> F2B and not marriage based.

I-485 forms are sent to different drop boxes based on your residence.
Some get processed faster than others. When you filed, it was during a time when USCIS really slowed down processing (stay at home, reduced staff etc).
You should get biometrics letter soon (4-8 weeks ?)
