    The problem is that the IO doesn't care about your excuse. You should've researched this before filling out the form, what's happening now is that from the IO's view you've lied in the application. C'monnnnn man, you've worked illegally, why would you say "no"? Not knowing the law is not a valid defense, and more likely you're going to get grilled about that. Is either you explain (very convincingly) what happened or get a lawyer. Good luck!

      So you're saying that someone else fraudulently used your SSN to work, but you didn't work? If so, you're not responsible for knowing about that.
