New card is being produced. How long before I receive the card?

My status changed today to new card is being produced. I am glad the journey finally came to an end. When can I expect to receive the card?

Congratulations! What card? Once you receive that notification it means that the card will be mailed within a day or by the end of that week. It usually takes a week or two and in some cases more to receive the card (it depends on your location). Congratulations.

It could take a month; USCIS is producing cards at reduced capacity owing to in house taking of production and consequent cessation of outsourced production.

The status is for my I-485. So I guess this is my Green Card.

Could be 30-60 days.
However, you should receive the approval / welcome notice within the next 2 weeks.
If you need to urgently travel outside the country or proof of Permanent residence for a job / etc, you can call USCIS and schedule an appointment for "I-551 Stamp" on your passport.
