I-864 Joint Sponsor with no passport

Hello,

Question about our joint sponsor evidence for our I-864 form: My father has an expired passport so I'm thinking that his current driver's license would be an OK replacement for it. Is that alright or is there a better option?

Nevermind...found the answer myself:
For U.S. citizens or U.S. nationals, a copy of your birth certificate, passport, or certificate of naturalization or citizenship.
