  • How to get all my past I-94 printouts?

    I-485 application requires "Evidence of Continuously Maintaining a Lawful Status Since Arrival in the United States". The instructions ask to include I-94 for all admissions. However, I-94 has been digitized long time ago, and I am able to download only the latest I-94 from the US Customs website.

    Questions
    1. How do I get all I-94s? Am I misunderstanding the instructions?
    2. I am able to download the travel history, but it only shows last 5 years, and I have a history of about 12 years. Is this 5 year travel history from US Customs website an acceptable evidence?

      Thanks. I appreciate the reply. The instructions seem to say all though:
      On page 11 under "Evidence of Continuously Maintaining a Lawful Status Since Arrival in the United States":
      Acceptable evidence may include, but is not limited to, copies of the following documents:

      A. Form I-797 approval notices for all extensions and changes of nonimmigrant status;
      B. Form I-94 Arrival-Departure Record, including printouts of paperless I-94 admissions;
      C. Form I-20, Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant (F-1) Student Status - For Academic and Language Students, or Form I-20, Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant (M-1) Student Status - For Vocational Students, including all pages containing notations by authorized school officials;
      D. Form DS-2019 (formerly IAP 66), Certificate of Eligibility for Exchange Visitor (J-1) Status, including all pages containing notations by authorized exchange visitor program officials; or
      E. Passport page with an admission or parole stamp (issued by a U.S. immigration officer).

      Include evidence for every time you entered the United States and for the time periods spent in the United States.

        You are right. It depends on the category you are applying under, though.

        If you don’t have the I-94s, Bullet point E (Passport page with an admission or parole stamp (issued by a U.S. immigration officer).) should suffice to meet this requirement.
