Fl/Miami filers : anyone received their biometrics notice?

UPDATE : - 2 hours ago the senator's office replied to me, they made an inquiry about my case to USCIS.
- A few minute ago my online status changed to "expedite denied" (finally!)
- AND I literally just received a biometrics notice by mail... appointment's on septembre 14.

I don't know why USCIS told me on the phone Friday there was still no bio notice on my case because the letter date is 08/25.
I also have no idea if the Senator's office inquiry about my case pushed USCIS to finally take a decision on my pending expedite. But at least, something happened!

Let's hope everything goes fast after they have my fingerprints/picture, and we don't have to wait months for the actual EAD/AP...

Yes I finally got it! But I think it's because I contacted the ombudsman/senator's offices...

Hi everyone,

Any news at your sides fellow Miami/florida filers?

I went to my biometrics appointment this morning, Miami's ASC was quite empty, just 2 work stations in use on 10 available, 2 employees taking the bios, everything went fast and smooth.
Now waiting for some movement on my file!

Finally was able to get my biometrics scheduled through the phone.

Called USCIS at their 1800 number and asked for Tier 2 agent, which they schedule a call back. Tier 2 agent called me back about 5 hours later and was able to schedule my biometrics within 2 mins. Also they send the notice on the email, so I can just print and take it with me.

Reddit thread mentions they can only do it if you had an appointment already scheduled but cancelled due to COVID so YMMV.

Tier 1 agents did but the tier 2 agents did not.
