  • National Benefit Center EAD Processing Time 37 months????

    Hi everyone,

My AOS and EAD applications are at National Benefit Center. I filed on April. It's currently said the processing time is for I-765 at NBC is 28-37 months? Does this mean to get the physical card, or to have the EAD card approved? How could anyone live here for 37 months without working while waiting for AOS?
This site provides applicants the ability to see an estimate of the time to completion from submission of USCIS forms based on its adjudication location and subtype.

Can anyone help explain? Thank you

It is because of the furloughs and a way to avoid cases enquiries. Because now it is hard to be "outside normal processing time" right?
