Need Help to get passport PCC

hello all,
i need help on how to obtain passport PCC. currently i am in US on H1b. but according to CSPA, i am eligible for PR. USCIS told me that i have to go back to india and then take visa from india with my family and then i have to come back to US.
becoz i am already 24, i dont want to take a risk by going india early and then not to get visa for PR. but before going for the visa, i need to obtain passport PCC and local PCC. how much time all this procedure take? i want to go india when i received visa call. the time between getting visa call and visa date is enough time to get Passport PCC and local PCC?

passport pcc can take 2 days to a month or more.

You need to personally apply at the Rpo Mumbai by filling up the required PCC form. Before filling up the form take the interview letter from US embasy and show it to passport supervisor. Ask if he can expedite your request.

thanks you so much for quick reply Mr.Anand. one more question is where can i get the form for PCC? is there two different form for passport pcc and local pcc that i have to fill up? i am from surat basically so i have to go to surat passport office for passport pcc.

can i get the form for local pcc and passport pcc online? where should i get that form from?
