Yeah, I'm pretty happy. Just need to get the vaccines. He overlooked that during the interview. We were about to celebrate with the family haha. Still, it is awesome news.

He noted she is pregnant and can’t have any shots right now, but my son is due next week so right after that he said as soon as we can bring the document of her up to date vaccinations and her green card will be created. He confirmed the hardest part is done and we are pretty much approved after that.
This is wonderful news. Congrats!!! I guess you can wait for the vaccinations needed until the child is born, but the civil servant may also be able to say that you’re eligible for waiver because of the pregnancy, or through prenatal care do blood tests that look for antibodies. I have an autoimmune condition, and am unable to get certain vaccinations. I’m sure I had those vaccinations as a child, but didn’t have the records. So the civil servant said if I shared the lab results of a recent blood test that showed I had the antibodies, that was good enough. And if I didn’t, she would write that I couldn’t get immunizations because of my autoimmune condition and be granted a waiver. For my part, I had my primary care physician order blood tests to look for the antibodies and they were there. So I didn’t end up needing a waiver. Anyway, the blood tests might be a way to get your immunity status without waiting till after child birth.

Congrats!! Wow, your wife was very pregnant at that interview. Now the most important thing is for you to have a healthy baby soon-- best of luck with that!

One of my worries earlier this year was that they'd call us for an interview when I was *very* pregnant and we'd have to travel 2.5 hours to the interview center. That didn't happen, thankfully, but we've now been waiting for a while.

Good luck with the baby and enjoy this new life ahead of you.

Wow that would not have been uncomfortable for you. I wish you luck on your future!
