  • DC/NOVA case waiting for interview

    Hi fellow immigrants,

Briefly, my husband and I filed for a marriage-based AOS in July 2019. Since December 2019, we've been waiting for an interview. After the Covid closings, the interview queue online was updated to have us waiting since 6/24. So it was reset.

Anyone else with a case in DC? What has been your experience and wait time?

    Thanks!

im also a july 2019 filer, no updates yet, my spouse is even tired and overwhelmed with this process, im hoping they reach out soon. As hes homesick and wants to go home. We do have advance parole and EAD however we are a bit worried and scared to travel in this political atmosphere

Should be ok to travel if he has a valid Advance Parole document for re-entry - don’t worry. You cannot our your life on hold because of this indeterminate and indefinite process.
USC filed AOS for parents on B2. I am not a lawyer.

Is that in DC? So sorry for the long wait. Looking at some of the other threads, there are people who submitted way after that (including December of last year) who've completed the process already, at other field offices. I guess it really depends on your location and some level of luck. I'm sorry that your spouse cannot travel. Would it make a difference if you travel together?
