I-485 - Biometric Appointment Status:

Hi guys,

I'm posting this message to share information about the biometrics interview during the COVID situation. I applied for my i-485 in October 2019, receiving my biometrics interview 3 weeks after. And 2 weeks after the interview, I received my EAD and about a month later, my Green Card.

Now, during the COVID crisis, I applied for the i-485 for my wife in 05/18/20 receiving in 06/25 RFE as the medical exam was older than 60 days and we had to provide another one. We sent it back and they acknowledge receiving it on 07/16. However, nothing happened afterwards. Since my entire process took 3 months from application to Green Card, and my wife (based on my i-485 employment related) is still on hold.

Do any received biometrics invitations in the last months after USCIS reopended in June? Are they on hold? There's not much information available publicly so I'm wondering if people here know more about USCIS internals after reopening in June.

Do someone have more information on the current USCIS status?

But based on your log, the timing between application and biometrics notice is only two months. Obviously, the RFE probably had come impact but still, for my wife it has been five months already with two months stuck just on RFE received notice. The good thing is that you received the biometrics appointment, so USCIS is working. My wife's biometrics is going to be done on St. Louis, MO.

Hi. I am the primary applicant on our case and my spouse received biometrics appointment and after that also received her combo card. However, I still did not receive an biometrics appointment date which to me sounds really weird as the primary applicant and my spouse being a dependent.
