  • No biometrics notice for 72 days

Hi everyone. I have not received my biometric yet, and after my call with USCIS, it says if I don't receive it after 90 days, I can call them again. Was anyone in the same boat? What actions can be taken after 90 days? What happened after the 90 days.

Waiting from almost 6 months, no biometric.

Unfortunately, there is not much you can do but wait. The three month closure has created a substantial backlog in processing biometric appointments, a matter not helped by the fact social distancing guidelines limit how many people ASCs can process per day.

Be patient, there are hundreds of thousands of people who are in a similar boat.

I'm in the same boat, still waiting for biometrics. I've called USCIS a few times and they always say the same thing- you must wait 90 days since your local office reopened before they will even consider doing anything.

Now I am curious what they are going to do once some of us hit that 90 day mark. Mine is approaching pretty soon I will let you know what happens!

Call the 1-800 number and ask for tier 2 agent. I read that as long as your biometrics was scheduled and cancelled due to covid, those tier 2 agents can reschedule it. It worked in my case. They scheduled it and emailed me the appointment letter within minutes.

Hi there, i did the same thing and contacted tier 2 officer this morning and i told her that i had an biometric appointment in march and she said, she will try to reschedule it. She asked me, is 22 Oct is ok?, i said ok. After 2 minutes she said, she successfully schedule it for 22 oct.

She said, i will receive letter in mail and if not received by 19 oct contact us again.

I asked her to send me any confirmation by email about biometric, she said i cant do that

So at least something is happening in my case

                Happy day

Hi guys, I called again today and spoke with Tier 2 office. Since I have never had my appointment schedule, they said I have to wait for 90 days since my ASC opens. So I can call them back n Oct 11 (that's when I hit them 90 days mark), and I'll update you guys

Yeah I did get it in email, she said I can print it and take it. I am also waiting for the mail through as the email has "COPY" written on it on the background (not that I think it matters).

I called USCIS today- they said for me since it has not been 90 days since my FO has opened I have to call back again next week. I asked if I could still speak with Tier 2 and they said they are "done" with the transfers for the day and that I should call before noon next time.
