  • Number of photos? 485, 765, 131 together

Im about to file my i-485 this coming monday to the chicago lock box along with my i-765 and i-131 - do i just submit 2 passport photos as im sending them altogether? Or do i still need to send 6? does anyone know?

Extremely dissapointed with the reintroduction if the i-944, but at least i had it prepped incase.

    Thankyou! VERY NERVOUS!

If you're willing to risk delays for this already-drawn-out process because attaching 4 extra photos is just too onerous, feel free.

Forms were accepted but I haven't heard anything after that.
My attorney has been doing this stuff for some time, so I am assuming 2 photos worked in the past.

My green card was approved in 90 days. Only attaching two photos did not cause any delays.

We did 6 in total. 2 of myself, the US Citizen and 4 of my husband. Our interview is in two weeks so I guess it all went well.

I guess it doesn't hurt to include 6 photos, 2 for 485, 2 for 765 and 2 for i130. In the link you provided, one of user mentioned also providing 2 photos of the petitioner? i didn't read anywhere where it mentioned in the forms. Also, my moms visa is expired (b2) so would filing i131 be still relevant? in other words i am not sure if i131 permit goes along with having a valid visa or its in itself is enough for reentry and acts like a visa.

You need photos of the petitioner if the beneficiary is the spouse. Unclear if it’s needed for the petitioner of a parent beneficiary. The I-131 (advance parole) allows travel out of the US without abandonment of the I-485 while it’s pending. If one travels without the AP during AOS, it will be considered abandoned and the beneficiary will have to start over.

Yeah I sent 2 photos of mine and 2 photos of my wife (petitioner). Still waiting for biometrics, but I filed back in July so I doubt it will be rejected because of that.
