Any October 2020 Filers ? !! USCIS October Visa Bulletin is out.

Waiting for USCIS to honor date of filling and start accepting 485 forms. They follow DOS guidelines which should be out in few days.

Hello, my eb2 priority date is 15Jan2010. As per October visa bulletin, eb2 filing date is 15May2011 and eb3 final action date is 15Jan2010. I am with the same employer for a long time and I think I will get the approval From my employer to downgrade from eb2 to eb3. 1) Should I downgrade to eb3? OR wait for eb2 to become current patiently? Any suggestion? 2) if I downgrade to eb3, what happens to eb2 petition? 3) If I downgrade to eb3, suppose eb3 dates retrogress (before Jan 2010) and eb2 dates advance (beyond Jan 2010), then I will be sitting duck again in eb3 line. Is there any option to upgrade to eb2 in such situation?

Hi all, i am waiting for i485 filing. I was going through list of docs required.

1. The place of birth in my passport is different than birth certificate and Mom name is spelled in a short form in birth certificate (both are not matching passport)
2. Birth certificate has alias name (ABC alias XYZ), whereas Passport has XYZ name only.

Will these been an issue? Appreciate any response on this.
