    1. B-2 extension pending sounds fine.
    2. Personally, I'd cancel the extension application via mail to the address on the notice. You could also include a copy of the extension application first page as well as the cancelation letter with your AOS application for reference. Mention this in your cover letter.
    3. One and the same person affidavit: Yes, you can list down all the variations here, so when looking at documents, they know it's the same person.
USC filed AOS for parents on B2. I am not a lawyer.

Not sure why i need one and only affidavit. My parent passport actually has given name and surname. Given name has 3 words in it so cant i include that in first name and leave middle name blank? Just like its in passport

one more thing. So i am actually kind of confused on this one.

This is my Dads name on the Passport
                  Given Names (Three words): L J H
                  Last Name: L

In all of these forms, should i put it the same exact way? What exactly defines what equals to first name, middle name or last name? In other words, how do i finalize how many words to put in first name, middle name or last name? If I put my dads name exactly it is in the passport then i don't get why we even have a middle name option in these forms?

Additionally, same thing on my US Passport, only has given name such as S G and Last Name G. So should i also put it the same way and leave middle name blank? Please advise, really confused.

As in the passport, I put given name as first name, left middle name blank and used last name as last name.

Thank You so much. I printed out all forms, all signed and have some last minute thoughts before mailing it finally . For my mom, my birth certificate is enough to demonstrate relationship between petitioner and benificiary and for my dad, my birth certificate as well as my parents marriage certificate. Correct? Also i am filing at Chicago lockbox since i live in Georgia. Thats correct? Additionally, if my check is cached and if they have accepted it, does it mean that they have quickly glanced it and overall it looks good? Should i take that as a good news?

Correct about the birth certificate and marriage certificate.
for address you can confirm by looking at the Where to file section for I-485 form on USCIS website. Checks cashed means fees was correct and no obvious/eligibility documents were missing. Only take final green card as the good news. Rest all is wait and hope for the best at each stage. Good luck.
USC filed AOS for parents on B2. I am not a lawyer.

I got sms receipt number, 4 for dad and 4 for mom for each application. How long does it take to receive biometric notice?
