After reading through threads and discussions, decided to post and see if anyone's in the similar situation. Given the prolonged timeline in NYC office, I wonder how people fared for F2A category with application in NYC field office.
The current processing timeline has further prolonged to 15.5-37.5 months. Want to know if there's any tip to inquiry even if it's still within the "normal" processing range.
My brief timeline/ situation:
Married to LPR. Admitted to the US on F-1 visa
Filed I-130, PD October, 2017
Filed I-485, September, 2018
Completed a Biometrics Appointment, September 2018
Interview was Scheduled on 10/2/2018 and Cancelled 10/22/2018 (likely due to an administrative mistake)
Applied I-131, I-765 in September, 2019 (to bridge my 1-year OPT from F-1 visa)
Issued I-131, I-765 in December, 2019 (EAD & Advanced Parole at hand)
No news after the interview cancelled in October 2018, although I was able to get EAD and Advanced Parole a year after. Now I just filed for a renewal and was accepted, but still, would appreciate any advice/suggests. Many thanks!
