When should I get my I-797

Hello Everybody,

I sent my AOS application last thursday on 06/24/10 with all required documents (I-130, I-485, I-864, I-693, I-765, I-131), four days ago I checked my bank account and I saw that USCIS have withdrawl the check that I gave them so I guess they received my application.

How long approximatly should it take to recieve the I-797 and does it means that if they withdrawl the money from my account means that the paperwork are ok and RFE is not required or they just took the money and now start to go over the papers?

You can still get a RFE after they cash your check.

The e-mail I got from USCIS says that my oficial Receipt Notice (I-797) will be received within 7-10 days by standard mail. They got my I-485 on June 25 and on July 6 I received the I-797 in the mail. Good luck!
