Would I be correct in saying that there were a few people who filed in the first week of October because their priority dates were in 2018 so they knew they would be filing in October so they had the filings ready to be sent and then there were people who started putting documents together after the October 2020 visa bulletin came out and then started filing around 20 October 2020.
I say this because I haven't seen anyone with documents submission/delivery dates between Oct 3rd to Oct 20th and it seems no one who submitted later has received a Biometrics appointment.

Actually, my EB1b-I140 (PD-October 2018) was approved in September 2020 and I had already prepared my application to be sent by the end of September but I did not want an RFE for any document so instead of sending the AOS without I-693 I decided to get the medicals done (got an appointment from the Physician after 10 days of calling and it took another 10 days to get the reports) before sending the application. Finally, I sent everything by 10/22/2020 and it reached Dallas by 10/26/2020. If I had any idea of this backlog in October I would have sent my applications even later maybe in November. I am repenting for this decision. Now I have to spend almost a thousand dollars more to get everything redone, and the stress is added on top of it.

There is another forum. Based on that it looks like even some early-mid October filers are only now getting their receipt numbers (2nd-3rd week of Dec). Filed in October but checks have been cashed only in the last day or two. There doesn't seem to be any pattern to receipt generation, it's not first come, looks completely random.

@Nimbus Can you please provide the link to that forum? I think the Dallas center is taking more time than any other center.

I have seen on the track itt forums that some of the mid-October files have received Biometrics too but seems pretty random. This is the link - it works on my computer even though it has the **** . If it doesn't work for you then instead of the **** put "track itt" without the space

You're right about the biometrics too. Some have started receiving the notices. I saw one particular case, where they did not receive the notice but got the appt date by via customer service in the USCIS website. It had already been scheduled for early Jan.

Nope, still waiting for the biometrics notice. Got receipt notices on 11/16

Anyone has any luck with customer service or Emma chat to get a concrete answer on whether Biometrics notice is generated or not. I havent tried calling yet but I tried Emma chat but no luck to get a more specific answer. Just keeps giving the check status page of USCIS.

Every time I call this number the machine asked for a receipt number and as I cannot provide it ends the call. EMMA also cannot provide any specific answer. It is very strange, I wish I can contact them as well! Today is the 50th Day for me.

did you talk to live agent or just the chat bot...live agent should be able to search your receipt using your a number ?

Yeah you're right. I am not sure how they are getting the receipt number through EMMA but I saw on one of the posts that they are using their A number as reference. Will have to check with one of them. There seems to be an almost 2 month delay in receipts. So I hope you receive it soon.

I just tried my luck calling the USCIS contact number 1800 375 5283 and probably since it is morning time was able to speak to a live agent. She confirmed that my biometrics notice has been created on 11th December and it should be in the mail. I do believe they can take a A number and check the status of receipt as well.

Nothing has updated on MYUSCIS yet and the agent I spoke to said that there is some delay but once that is updated we can see the notice on there too.

I called 1-800 375 5283, finally was able to talk to some USCIS agent, they mentioned since my receipt date was Oct 12th, so within 30 days I should have received my biometric which should be by Nov 11th. Since I haven't received so agent put another request in for Biometric and gave me request number, he said should get scheduled within 30 days will get email/mail confirmation or both with appointment details.
