What is the importance of I485 J receipt. Does it indicate any progress on overall processing? Is there a timeline by when you will get GC after I 485J receipt?

You are not alone my friend! Similar situation. We still are waiting for our RFE on medicals and EAD/AP.

Oct 15, 2020, filed AOS
Jan 20th Biometrics scheduled and postponed
March 19th Biometrics completed.
May last week, received I 485J Fee waived off Receipt.
Waiting for EAD/AP, Medicals/GC Interview.

Looks like some people in the same situation got the GC directly, after a long silence. So fingers crossed that you will get it soon the same way.

Biometrics on Jan 7th and no update after that on I485. Got EAD though.

I am still waiting for biometrics. USCIS says under normal processing times. Filed in medical as well, so not really a rfe case.

Biometrics on Jan 7th and no update after that on I485. Got EAD though.

It is so unfortunate for us that even though the elections are over and the new government is established and COVID situation is under control still it is taking such a long time for the processing of our GC!
