      Hello

Have you received i485j receipt notice? if yes, then when?

Do we know if there is any connection/co-relation between i485j and i485 Approval/RFE?

that is the receipt notice for your form I 485J and if there is a change in your job status, you may have to inform them . I do not believe there is a direct correlation between that notice and I 485 . I got it on May 1st and nothing after .

I received the notice back in Feb so I am sure it has nothing to do with the processing of I485

PD depending on the 1st EB2-I140 application is 10/15/2018. This was mentioned on my EB1b I-140 approval notice. However, the notice for I-485 has September 2020 as PD as my EB1b was applied and approved in September 2020.

Is it based on the estimation that they won't be able to to issue GC in next 2 years & AOS filers will have to use EAD to work?

Once you file I485, I guess PD doesn't make any difference? isn't it?

The reason they extended is they have burden of issuing the GC's on a priority basis. That is the reason EAD's are getting long delays.

Then what about those people who have not received any EAD and waiting for GC? Seems never ending processing!

I have no idea on what basis they process I-485.

I was asking a question, not sharing any information.

What is the sense of issuing 2 year EAD, when most of the applicants filed 485 in Oct 20, gonna get their GC within a year?
